Did Kim Kardashian Just Expose Taylor Swift?- Being Fake Get’s You Nowhere

It looks like Kim Kardashian just exposed Taylor Swift on Snap Chat and I must say I would love to see how this plays out. Back in February when Kanye released his album ” The Life of Pablo” he directed some rauchy lyrics towards Taylor in his track “Famous”:  “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous,” Kanye raps in the song’s opening verse. He goes on, “For all the girls that got dick from Kanye West/ If you see ’em in the streets give ’em Kanye’s bests/ Why? They mad they ain’t famous/ God damn/ They mad they’re still nameless.”

Now this would be pretty insulting if Kanye didn’t already have Taylor’s approval to release the track, despite the  lyrics, Right? Around this time one of Taylor’s representatives released the following statement:  “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous”…..

In an interview with GQ, Kim made claims to defend her husband Kanye. Kim reported that there were two forms of proof to support that Taylor was aware of the track and the lyrics, which included VIDEO  footage.  Kim went further to state that videographers are commissioned to film everything when Kanye records an album. The following statement was later released from one of Taylor’s representatives according to Rolling Stone: “Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognizes the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West. However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect. Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since. Taylor has never denied that conversation took place. It was on that phone call that Kanye West also asked her to release the song on her Twitter account, which she declined to do. Kanye West never told Taylor he was going to use the term ‘that bitch’ in referencing her. A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift. Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated. Kim Kardashian’s claim that Taylor and her team were aware of being recorded is not true, and Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone.”

After all of this drama, Kim finally blessed us with video proof of Kanye having a conversation with Taylor and asking permission regarding the above mentioned track on his album (video below).

Taylor reminds me of that one so called “friend” that you make amends with after a falling out  but they still continuously somehow manage to keep  the drama going. I would like to hear Taylor’s explanation, because right now she’s looking fake. Either Taylor is still holding on to the drama with Kanye from 2009 or she’s just simply out to make Kanye look like a villain. Between this, Taylor’s drama with Calvin Harris and her weird rebound relationship with Tom Hiddleston, I think it’s time for her to try a new pitch for her image. I’ve never bought into the “wholesome american girl” act anyways and I most definitely don’t now. I kind of want Taylor to cut her hair, wear all black, a push up bra, maybe a dark lip and rise from the ashes like Rihanna did back in 2007 with “Good Girl Gone Bad”.

Bottom line, being fake get’s you no where. It doesn’t work in our regular lives and it certainly doesn’t work in Hollywood either. If Taylor didn’t really want to deal with Kanye or his music, why even entertain him on the phone? Why even publically make amends?
